12-year-old Anika Jade is fourth-generation Hollywood royalty. Her mother is SIGIL founder Nina Kether Axelrod, who was a succesful actress in the 1980s. Her brother, Taliesin Jaffe, was a wildly successful child actor (MR. MOM, 2010: THE YEAR WE MAKE CONTACT, EXPLORERS, AMAZING STORIES) who went on to become a well-respected voice-over director. Her grandfather was the legendary playwright and screenwriter George Axelrod (THE SEVEN-YEAR ITCH, BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S, THE MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE). Her uncle, Jonathan Axelrod, is a well-known television producer (DAVE'S WORLD) and her great-grandmother, Betty Carpenter, was a silent film star in the 1920s.
Having already funded her college education by appearing in a number of national commercials, Anika most recently played a large supporting role in SEEK & HIDE, which also starred Chris Carmack and Lance Bass. |
